Anyone have any experience with vanillaOS

I'm trying more gnome centered environments and vanillaOS looks really nice!

I love tinkering with nix but that is mostly important for my server and image building. So if something like vanillaOS works well for developing I can keep Nix where its helpful while keeping the development environment workflow that'd be awesome!
