@hertog You can't leave the property The Game. As such, it is not a game. But you can leave the game The Game. Stepping out of its magic circle involves stopping to keep track of it and assigning importance, and stopping to announce that you lost The Game.
@hertog The way I see it, The Game is not a game. It is a property of every person on the planet. A timer ticking up, that for some people, sometimes, resets. You don't opt out of having this property.
One can play the game associated with The Game, also called The Game, by announcing whenever this timer resets, and giving importance (higher is better) to this timer. It's a choice which I would say does behave magic circly!
