Remember there's no such as "trying harder". If you didn't do something, there's a reason you didn't do it, good or bad. and its not because you didnt do your best, because you are always doing your best.
It's so annoying that on posts that are like "yeah astrology is dumb and false but a lot of the hate towards it is misogynistic in nature" always get commented on by people who try to defend astrology. like 1. that was not the point 2. shut up
@hertog People are saying like "damn if only tumblr had this reaction to the rampant transmisogyny in the moderation, like if only someone would write a major article about that" and real fair
@hertog literally in this confusion the main idea was that this was done so people who make good additions feel more rewarded. but that's like such a bad theory
@hertog so say a bigot reblogs a selfie to mock it and then blocks you, you will never know this happened or that an entire community of bigots has access to your selfie and is making fun of it
@hertog add onto this that if someone blocks you after reblogging your post, you can pretty much not access that reblog and its offspring unless you happen to come across it in the wild
