I'm making a game using a customized version of godot which within the godot project itself gets extended with rust using gdext.
thats all fine and dandy on its own but there is more.
Using Nix I compile all this into one package which I then using to build a full NixOS image wich then allows me to do a whole bunch of linux bullshit in the game.
Now I can't just expect everyone to flash that onto a usb stick and play that way so in another rust project I am making a little runner to launch a vm instead.
and I think it would be interesting to see what the current gaming community would think of this.
I don't need to crosscompile my game to your platform here is an iso that has a full linux system with the game and here is a program that launches it that I crosscompiled instead
Compile a custom godot build (with templates), a GDext rust library and export the project onto an iso image where it is launched in a kiosk like environment with everything it needs.
