Long TRON Ares speculation pretty negative but we'll have to see
Appearently there was a TRON Ares teaser at a con a few weeks back and ngl the plot sounds assSupposedly it will have the main character be a Master Control Program attempting to invade the real world and make it like the computer???

The first tron reflected the way computers (in many ways) worked at the time and fantasized about that like really it is a love letter to the computer in the form of a fantasy story. The second movie does something similar but from a far less technical aspect and more of a philosophical aspect which was also pretty fucking cool ngl.
However in current times such a program as the Master Control Program existing makes no sense? Also what is interesting about reversing these theme that the previous films followed? I don't think a computer fantasying about the real world would be interesting unless we just ignore everything about the previous films (love letter to the computer) but maby I'm wrong after all the trope of robots struggling with not quite being human is very much not something knew and could be very interesting it just seems very weird to do so with TRON but I'll wait and see.
