joins vrchat for the first time in a while
goes searching for a different avatar
finds one it likes
joins a random world with a high player count (for some reason)
runs out of RAM and system freezes
moves to a different tty to try and kill the process
the process gets oom killed (i think), and takes the steam client with it
i should probably set up a swap partition
