Its so stupid that like literally all mental problems is a question of needs and ways to fulfill them. Your life is never doomed forever its never going to be impossible to be happy you just need to find out what rudimentary needs you need fulfilled and how to get to that point
@sara_objectionable im gonna do the most cringe thing i can do and share a poem:
The Swan, by Mary Oliver:
Did you too see it, drifting, all night, on the black river? Did you see it in the morning, rising into the silvery air - An armful of white blossoms, A perfect commotion of silk and linen as it leaned into the bondage of its wings; a snowbank, a bank of lilies, Biting the air with its black beak? Did you hear it, fluting and whistling A shrill dark music - like the rain pelting the trees - like a waterfall Knifing down the black ledges? And did you see it, finally, just under the clouds - A white cross Streaming across the sky, its feet Like black leaves, its wings Like the stretching light of the river? And did you feel it, in your heart, how it pertained to everything? And have you too finally figured out what beauty is for? And have you changed your life?
@sara_objectionable it is a common joke among the youth when any place is mentioned immediately respond in disgust, regardless of what place it is (though i more often see this around places that are not randstad, so maybe this is an urbanist sentiment)
there is a specific expression of the american fear of the general public and welfare and the idea that there is a malevolent actor trying to unnecessarily take advantage of every benefit that people can bestow, and that is people that think that game tournaments should be run to catch and punish the most amount of cheaters as possible, as if any amount of relaxation in policy is "just playing into their hands"
@1NTRO ik vind wreed eigenlijk best een mooi woord ervoor. wreed kan beide een beschrijving van een actie/persoon zijn of gewoon dat het lot een beetje wreed kan zijn.
